- How much money can I put on the ABLE Prepaid Card?

You can load as much or as little as you need on the ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card up to $20,000. The maximum load limit per day is $5,000.
- Can I pause my ABLE Prepaid Card temporarily?

The ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card can be paused temporarily or closed at any time. Simply log in to your Prepaid Card dashboard and click the “Account” tab. Then select the “Temporarily disable” or “Permanently close card” button. Alternatively, you can contact ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card support.
- How does the ABLE Prepaid Card fee get paid?
- Fees for your ABLE Visa® Prepaid Card are deducted from the card’s available balance and not your ABLE account. - Who do I contact for help with SSA direct deposits?

If you need assistance, please reach out directly to the Social Security Administration team.
To retrieve your direct deposit details — including a unique routing and account number — log in to your Hawai'i ABLE account and click on “Payroll direct deposit” on the Total Balance tile.
- Can I redirect my SSA direct deposits to my Hawai'i ABLE account?

Yes. To redirect your SSA direct deposits from the account where they are currently connected to your Hawai'i ABLE account, you will need to update your settings on the Social Security website.
- What do I need to do with my IRS Form 5498-QA form?

Keep this tax form with your records for future reference. You're not required to file it with your tax return.

The plan administrator must send the 1099-QA by January 31, so you should receive the form no later than early February following the close of the tax year. You will receive it via mail or electronic delivery based on communication preferences.
